Our Strategy
We work closely with both our customers and partners to understand their needs and how our Biolyse® technology can help them with a particular problem. Our partners span the academic and commercial sectors; from Universities and Research Institutes, to small SME’s and all the way up to large international companies. We are flexible in our approach to working together, be it co-development, carrying out a bespoke development under contract or helping to bring a new idea to market. APS also has an excellent track record in attracting both national and international grant funding and many of its partnerships have been initiated through this route. Our skills lie in effective formulation of bacteriophage mixes to manage bacterial contamination. Our current focus is fresh-produce spoilage and associated agricultural/horticultural applications but bacteriophage have a much wider potential in tackling bacterial pathogens and antimicrobial resistance and we are keen to take on new challenges. Our small but very experienced research team works in an effective, confidential manner and we pride ourselves in delivering on time and budget.
